Confex reveals turnover and membership increase at annual conference

Confex’s group turnover has surpassed £3bn and membership has increased to 234, 96 delegates were told at the company’s annual conference.

The buying group also revealed its key three long-term targets of growing inter-connectivity; expanding data-led insight; as well as using tech to drive efficiencies and position Confex as the most progressive, digitally first buying group in the UK.

It was also announced in Lanzarote that the group’s own-brand CORE now has a target to become a £30m range, with delegates also using the four days to complete more than 630 1-2-1 meetings.

Sean Trow, managing director of member Central Supplies said: “Delighted to have been able to join fellow Confex Suppliers and members at this year’s conference. The occasion was extremely well organised. We had ample opportunity to meet and discuss. We found the experience very rewarding.”
