Confex reports 23% volume growth

Confex’s group sales up to end of May are expected to be up by 32.47% in value and 23.84% in volume, with sales forecasted to top £10m by October.

The buying group has welcomed seven new member this year, with Lakeland. Dairies (Cumbria); Pennine Distribution (Lancs); Adams Foodservice (Bradford); Roys (Norwich); DMG Wholesale (Walsall); Ferrantes Foodservice (Bristol) & Magna Foodservice (Hounslow) all contributing to the growth as well as the launch of Core own-brand in 2022.

Following the trade show and awards ceremony in March, the group also has a dedicated Foodservice Fair lines up, which will be held on 13th September at Stratford-on-Avon racecourse. This will be followed by its Conference, which will take place in Lanzarote at the beginning of October .
