Turner Price’s trade show extends to the North East

Turner Price is extending its flagship trade event this year, with The Cater Expo now set to take place in Newcastle for the first time.

The event, which is free to attend and open to all catering professionals, will bring together over 100 food and drink suppliers, showcasing the latest products, trends and innovations from across the foodservice sector.

Originally established in Hull, Cater Expo has grown in recent years taking the event on the road to Sheffield, Derby & York as demand from caterers across the North and Midlands continues to increase.

Tom English, commercial director at Turner Price, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be bringing Cater Expo to Newcastle for the first time and making it our biggest event yet. The North East is a key growth area for us, with a strong and loyal customer base already in place, so it feels like a natural next step.

“Cater Expo has built a fantastic reputation and we’re proud to offer a free event that gives caterers the chance to meet suppliers, explore new ideas and see what’s new in the industry. The level of support from our suppliers and brand partners for Newcastle has been outstanding, and we’re looking forward to welcoming both existing and new customers through the doors.”

As well as launching in Newcastle, Turner Price will also host its established Cater Expo event in Hull later in the year.
