Women in Wholesale announces conference line-up

Women in Wholesale

Costco HR manager Dominic Flanagan has been announced as a speaker for this year’s Women in Wholesale (WiW) conference. He will be in London to reveal some of the companies best practice tips after an insight firm recently named the wholesaler the world’s best place to work in a study.

Taking place on October 10th at 1 Wimpole Street, London, the educational networking event will run under the theme ‘Progress to Success’ and features a wide range of speakers and discussions aimed at inspiring, supporting and progressing women working on both the wholesale and FMCG sides of the industry.

Neil Bellamy, head of technology for NatWest, will present how the bank has transformed its workspace using technology and interior design, whilst 443.ai founder, Jason Finch, will be discussing wider inclusivity issues and the problems faced every day by LGBT individuals ‘coming out’ in the workplace.

Guest speaker Carol Glover of Carol Glover Coaching will also discuss time management and how she has helped entrepreneurs, leaders and organisations to explore original and inventive ways to simplify complex problems. Other topics to be discussed throughout the event will include resilience and how to tackle ‘imposter syndrome.’

Meanwhile, a ‘How to be Brilliant’ panel discussion is also set to take place and will feature award-winning talent from Bidfood, JJ Foodservice, KP Snacks and Caterforce sharing tips that have helped them thrive in their careers.

WiW is for male managers and women of all levels. Tickets are £200 + VAT. Register here.
