New CEO for Bidvest 3663

Andrew Selley has been appointed as chief executive of Bidvest 3663.

A spokesperson said: “We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Andrew Selley to the new role of Chief Executive.

“Andrew has worked for the Bidvest group for the last 15 years, with responsibility for Bidvest logistics and automotive logistics in the UK, and for developing the Bidvest Foodservice businesses in the Middle East, Turkey, the Baltics and Spain.

“In his new role, Andrew will oversee both the Bidvest 3663 and Bidvest Logistics operations, leading the businesses through the exciting next chapter in the development of Bidvest’s foodservice business in the UK.

“The company will continue to pursue its strategy and ambitious growth plans, including the recent announcement of the second stage of a multi-million pound infrastructure investment programme, which includes four new depots as well as updating the company’s nationwide infrastructure and IT systems.

“After 23 successful years with Booker Foodservice and Bidvest 3663, Alex Fisher, Group Managing Director left the business following a smooth transition period during June. Throughout his time with Bidvest 3663, Alex made a substantial contribution to the success of the company, helping build it into a leading player in foodservice wholesale distribution. He left the company by mutual consent and with our best wishes for the future.”
