More profits to come from van sales at Palmer & Harvey

Palmer & Harvey’s sales and commercial managing director, Martyn Ward, believes there is untapped potential in the Walkers van sales operation that the wholesaler bought last year.

One goal for 2013 will be the continuing integration of the van sales operation with the rest of the network. What was surprising was the number of new customers that came with the van sales business, in particular, coffee shops and sandwich shops. “We are considering what else we can sell to these guys apart from crisps,” Ward told Better Wholesaling.
