Stuart Lane of Lansdell Soft Drinks will be leaving his role as a director at NBC following the sale of his company to Chapple & Jenkins last year, with the buying group now seeking interested applicants from the NBC membership to take on the role of member director.

Lane was one of the founding members of NBC and the first chairman to assume the role back in 2019. He said: “It has been a tremendous pleasure to have been involved and working with a group of businesses that have the same values and principles.”

“Whilst we have had many challenges during our journey, including the pandemic, the group has gone from strength to strength and the leadership team that has evolved over such a short period of time has ensured that the group is now well positioned for the future and that allows me to focus my own personal time and attention to new challenges. I wish everyone at NBC good fortune and I advise them to stick to the original foundations of the business that has made it the success that it is,” he added.
