JJ Food Service up two places in the Sunday Times Top Track 250

Enfield-based JJ Food Service has been ranked 167th in the Sunday Times Top Track 250, up two places compared with its 169th ranking in 2013.

The Top Track 250 list is published every year in the Sunday Times and ranks Britain’s top mid-market private companies by their turnover over the previous year, from published accounts.

JJ’s managing director Mustafa Kiamil said: “We are delighted to be included in this year’s Top Track 250 list, which has collectively contributed 4.3% to the UK’s economy.”

Mr Kiamil added: “We will continue to grow sales and profits over the next year by improving the quality and range of our products, and offering a first-class service to our customers.”

This year’s Top Track 250 list generated operating profits of £4.4bn from sales of more than £70bn – equivalent to 4.3% of GDP. The majority of companies are family-owned or owned by an entrepreneur.
