JJ Foodservice has set its sights on expansion in West London as well as outside the capital, with the wholesaler now actively looking to acquire more properties.

This decision has been influenced by the results of a survey which took place at the company’s inaugural Women in Fish and Chips conference in Birmingham this month, with 86% of delegates stating they would like a local JJ branch to serve their area.

JJ recently saw a 14% increase in turnover from April 2019 to December 2019, compared with the same period the previous year, with orders going up by 13% and number of cases up by 10%.

Group general manager Terry Larkin, said: “We’re ready to grow – but our biggest challenge is finding suitable freehold sites. We are urging anyone with a warehouse between 20,000sq ft and 50,000sq ft in West London to get in touch.”

JJ Foodservice currently has eleven UK branches in Enfield, Sidcup, Basingstoke, Dagenham, Birmingham, Bristol, Doncaster, Leicester, Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle.
