Dairyfresh Ltd has acquired the IP rights of SOS Wholesale and rehired seven former SOS sales and warehouse staff, with more to follow.
Last month, SOS Wholesale staff undertook legal proceedings against the wholesaler after it made the majority of the 100 employees redundant and entered the administration process on September 8th.

However, Dairyfresh has now begun re-establishing the Barnsley sales office with the support of former commercial director Lesley Dale and started reconnecting with former customers and suppliers
SOS Wholesale faced multiple challenges in recent months including rising input costs and changing consumer spending habits. With cashflow and profitability under pressure, the company was unable to meet its financial obligations, leading directors to place the business into administration.
