CJ Lang has helped retailers to see a 25% uplift in coffee sales

CJ Lang & Son, the SPAR wholesaler for Scotland, has seen huge success with the launch of its Coffee Club Loyalty Scheme in June. The wholesaler’s SPAR retailers have seen an increase of up to 24% in the past three months thanks to the launch of the initiative.

Customers can pick up a loyalty card in participating company-owned and Independent stores and then receive a free coffee after six purchases. Retailers are given a pack including a poster, shelf cards, loyalty cards and stamps to help promote the scheme.

Bill Mair, Sales Director CJ Lang & Son Limited, said he was delighted with the success of the scheme so far.

“These fantastic results really demonstrate what a big difference loyalty schemes can make, and huge congratulations goes to the SPAR Scotland stores that have made the initiative a great success with their hard work and enthusiasm.”
