Bidfood and Bestway pick up triple honours at FWD awards

Bidfood and Bestway were recipients of three awards each at the Federation of Wholesale Distributors’ (FWD) annual Gold Medals in London.

Recently departed Bestway head of marketing and digital, Salih Sheikh, won the prestigious Young Wholesaler of the Year gong, whilst Atif Raza of the Bestway Leeds depot was named Best Depot Manager. Wholesaler Service to Retailer was also won by Bestway.

Meanwhile, Bidfood’s James Vincent and Lynda Hayes picked up the Star Driver and Telesales Star trophies respectively. The foodservice wholesaler sealed its hat trick by winning the Wholesaler Service to Caterers category.

Booker also won two awards, with JW Filshill, Creed Foodservice, JJ Foodservice, and Mevalco also amongst the winners.
