Unitas Wholesale has announced that between September 29 and October 1, it will host its first face-to-face trade event since the Covid-19 pandemic began.

The event will occur at The Convention Centre in Liverpool, where a senior supplier briefing will be held in the afternoon of September 29.

The remainder of the event will allow members and suppliers to network, share business plans, negotiate deals, and refocus business relationships that may have been harmed by the pandemic’s challenges.

Unitas Wholesale has postponed their overseas conference in Tenerife until September next year, citing the need to keep delegates secure as well as the uncertainty of future travel restrictions.

John Kinney, managing director of Unitas Wholesale, emphasised the necessity of building on recent successes during the upcoming trade event:

“As we move out of the pandemic, it is important that we continue to deliver exclusive events for our members and supplier partners that give them the opportunity to negotiate and network in a safe environment.  Working with both the Supplier Council and our member committees the feedback we have received is that all stakeholders are extremely receptive to the trade event and my team and I are looking forward to welcoming them to Liverpool in September”.
