The UK supply of Asahi products have not been effected by the cyber security incident the company is currently experiencing in Japan, the company has confirmed.
The Japanese market is facing a shortage of Asahi products, with the majority of the company’s factories in the country having been at a standstill since Monday. This came after the attack hit its ordering and delivering systems.

A company statement said: “Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd. is currently experiencing a cyber security incident, affecting operations in Japan. None of Asahi’s manufacturing operations in Europe, including its UK and Ireland beer supply, are impacted by this incident.”
