Mevalco moves to bigger site to accommodate its fast-track growth

Spanish foods wholesaler Mevalco has moved to new, larger premises in Avonmouth, Bristol, to accommodate its fast-track growth over the past two years and enable the continuation of its national development strategy.

The new site is three times the size of the company’s previous facilities, and the 7,500 square foot unit also features a customer showroom and development kitchens where client chefs and managers will be able to see, taste and work with many of Mevalco’s products and ingredients.

Mevalco’s joint managing director, Justin Slawson, said: “We are incredibly excited about the move and the opportunity it gives us to increase our range, our staffing resources and showcase our products in the most professional way to our customers, alongside having more space to build on our offer with new, fresh product ranges we are planning for introduction in the future.

“The investment into our new site is very much part of our phased fast-track growth strategy which has been driven by the increased demand for super premium world products that we offer. On a practical level, it will provide us with a much larger area for storage and we are also looking forward to working alongside our chefs in our new, state of the art development kitchen.”

Founded nearly 10 years ago, Mevalco serves restaurants across the UK.
