Hunt’s saves The Health Store after administration

Hunt’s Food Group has acquired The Health Store after the health foods wholesaler had previously gone into administration.

As originally reported in our sister title RN, the company went into administration after an unexpected sales decline due to the loss of a key customer and unprecedented market conditions.

Hunt’s plans to continue distributing out of the company’s Nottingham site and has also taken on the employment of several members of THS team at Nottingham to help with the operation of the depot and assist with its growth.

This investment from the group brings greater choice to our customers and complements our commitment to having the most competitive, comprehensive range available. We have exciting plans for the brand and are looking forward to developing these in the future.”
