United Wholesale Scotland (UWS) has announced plans to open a depot in 2027, as it continues to expand its Day Today fascia across London.
The growth strategy was announced by the Glasgow-headquartered firm on 2 September. The new depot, with a yet to be announced location, would add to three sites in Scotland, and another in London which most recently opened in 2025.
Since launching its London depot, UWS has opened 20 symbol stores across the capital, with a further 28 to join the whole Day-Today estate by the end of this year.

It comes as the firm’s most recent tradeshow broke records for retailer attendance and orders, with almost £900,000 in orders and strong supplier engagement. UWS claimed the event was the most successful in its history, followed by a prestigious awards ceremony in the evening.
Gallacher added: “This was our biggest and most successful trade show to date, and the results demonstrate the strength of the partnerships we have built with both our retailers and suppliers.”
