Henderson Foodservice sets up click and collect facility

Henderson Foodservice has set up a new click and collect facility which is offering the public a range of catering style bulk buys and smaller scale units during the coronavirus pandemic.

Mark Stewart -Maunder, Henderson Foodservice’s Business Development Director explained that the framework designed by Foodservice Online has been built with the consumer very much in mind.

“It enables them to view and purchase top food and drink brands including our own bespoke collection for professional caterers, Country Range,” he said. “We plan to add new products and ranges over the coming weeks and will take into consideration customer feedback as we develop and tailor the service to suit customer tastes and requirements.”

“Government restrictions mean we all need to adapt to different ways of shopping and our new consumer service means no standing in queues and virtually eliminates the need for social interaction as vehicle registrations are recorded  at the time of ordering.  Customers on collection   show their order receipt by mobile or a print copy from their car window, and our team will place the order carefully in the vehicle’s boot,” added Stewart -Maunder.
