Hancocks is opening a 14,000sq ft cash & carry in Rochester, Kent on March 1.
The new depot is in a previously untouched region for the confectionery wholesaler. Hancocks Rochester joins a portfolio of 20 depots UK-wide and will house 5,000 branded and own-label confectionery products.
The new site is near one of the busiest Booker depots in the country, highlighting the vibrant local independent retail sector. Mark Watson, Hancocks CEO, said: “This is a great location for Hancocks and we cannot wait to open in March and get trading. Our research indicates great potential in this area of Kent and the M3 will ensure ease of access.”
Hancocks currently services the South East with cash & carries in Watford and Croydon, with Hancocks Rochester becoming a third site in the region
