Caterforce managing director Gary Mullineux has taken on an additional role as Joint chief executive of European Catering Distributors (ECD).
ECD is a pan-European buying and development consortium, bringing together leading independent foodservice distributors across 18 European markets, with a group turnover of €11Bbn. By combining scale, collaboration, and shared expertise, ECD is said to create value for its members and delivers compelling opportunities for supplier partners across Europe.

I a social media post, Mullineux called out for international suppliers already working with some of the ECD’s members to get in touch in order to exapns their reach in Europe.
“I’d like to sincerely thank the ECD Board Jan van der Burg, Tamas Tokey, Ulfert Zöllner and Jos van Laarhoven for their belief, trust, and positivity, and the Caterforce Ltd Board for supporting my continued growth alongside my existing responsibilities,” he saidf
