Bocking launches business culture programme for wholesalers

Women in Wholesale chair Clare Bocking, has launched a seven-step programme to help wholesalers and other businesses to bring company culture in-line with sale goals

The Conscious Culture Initiative is said to help unlocking trust, creativity, and measurable business results, and follows research commissioned by WiW which revealed 67% of women in wholesale cited a male-dominated culture as their biggest workplace challenge.

“When I spoke with colleagues across the sector, it was clear many weren’t sure what ‘culture’ really meant, how it could impact their business, or how to change it,” said Bocking. “Culture can make or break business performance. High-trust cultures deliver 2.5x revenue growth and 2x profit. It’s not a side project – it’s a strategic advantage”,

“Yet many successful, entrepreneurial wholesalers still operate with a ‘legacy culture’ shaped by founder-owners – which may no longer serve today’s strategies, markets, and workforces. The Conscious Culture Initiative provides a structured yet flexible framework to refresh and evolve culture, so it accelerates – rather than hinders – performance.”
