AMS Wholesale set to join The Wholesale Group

Stoke-based AMS Wholesale is set to join The Wholesale Group, with the buying group now representing more than 225 independent businesses across retail and foodservice.

The wholesaler supplies the QSR sector nationally with fresh, chilled and frozen foods, along with soft drinks and confectionery. It has also partnered with a supermarket business with a range of retail lines.

In addition to this, it recently expanded with the addition of a new 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse that will help grow its current turnover of more than £20m.

Jess Douglas, managing director of The Wholesale Group, said: “We’re delighted to welcome such an exciting wholesaler to the group. With a growth mindset, and commitment to delivering real value in the market, AMS Wholesale makes a fantastic addition to our network.

“This addition further strengthens the diversity of our network, driving innovation and creating new growth opportunities. We’re proud to have them on board and wish them a very warm welcome.”
