Lioncroft chief hints at own-label expansion

Birmingham-based Lioncroft Wholesale looks set to expand the range of own brand produce and tinned goods available to retailers in 2026.

In a social media post, the firm’s chief executive Jason Wouhra explained that own brand is set to be a key area of focus for the company in 2026, pointing out  that consumers will see the Lioncroft name more in shops.

“There is one trend in particular I want to highlight – the rise of Lioncroft’s own produce,” he said, “throughout 2025 we have hugely expanded our range – from nuts and spices to oils and tinned goods – and seen a brilliant reaction from our customers.”

“We of course get the anecdotal feedback about the quality of our products, but crucially that feedback is then backed up in black and white when we pour over our sales figures. From a standing start, we are quickly becoming a staple,” he added.
