At the start of this year, Woods acquired John Mower in a deal that will see Woods projected revenue of £40m grow to more than £50m, with the wholesaler taking on a new Hoddesdon distribution centre.
After adding fresh produce, tableware and meat to its offering, Woods is set to achieve more 5% growth on the previous year and this deal is said to create one of the UK’s largest, premium restaurant suppliers, with over 3,000 customers who share upwards of 90 Michelin stars.
The foodservice wholesaler will also joined in August last year, with the London-based wholesaler adding to the buying group’s national coverage.
