Booker-owned on-trade drinks wholesaler Venus Wine and Spirits Merchants is opening its fifth distribution centre in Kingswinford, West Midlands, as part of the parent’s company strategy to bolster its beverage portfolio and grow its presence within wholesale and hospitality across the UK.
The 13,500 square foot site will create nine new employees and three account managers to cover the West Midlands region, with the Kingswinford depot positioned within the existing Booker site on The Pensnett Estate, Kingswinford.
Neil Jewsbury, managing director at Venus Wine and Spirits Merchants, said: “It’s a real pleasure to see this opening come to fruition as the new depot allows us to scale up our offering and expand our footprint across the West Midlands region. It’s a strong addition to our network and we know there’s huge potential in the region thanks to its lively hospitality scene.

Booker Group acquired Venus Wines and Spirits Merchants in 2024 and opened a new facility in Greater Manchester earlier in 2025.
