Spar UK has appointed Jerome Saint-Marc as its new managing director, effective from 17 August.
Saint-Marc brings 30 years of supply chain and retail experience, according to a statement from Spar UK. He has held senior roles at Tesco, Morrisons, Wilko and, most recently, Co-op.

He succeeds Michael Fletcher, who will step back from day-to-day responsibilities at the end of August before leaving the business in early November. Fletcher joined Spar UK in November 2024.
Martin Agnew has also been appointed chair of the Spar Food Distributors Board, having served on the board for more than 25 years. He succeeds Nick Bunker, who recently stepped down.
