Pricecheck achieves double digit growth for second year running

Pricecheck has achieved double digit growth for the second successive year ending 30th April 2023, with the accounts set to show a rise of around 14-15% and turnover around the £129m mark when they are published later this year.

This marks the ninth consecutive year of growth for the wholesaler and the company has put this down to innovation in brand distribution and exploring emerging markets as key reasons for the increase.

Over the past 12 months, Pricecheck has secured exclusive and semi-exclusive distribution deals with Batiste, Arm & Hammer, Nair, Femfresh, W7 cosmetics, and Enjoy! Chocolate. This is in addition to enhancing existing agreements with Astonish and Malibu sun care.

Debbie Harrison OBE, Joint MD (Trading) said “Every year since we moved to new premises in 2016 we have grown by double digits, apart from the covid year ending April 2021- and that was still a year of growth! This is something we’re incredibly proud of as it demonstrates the hard work from the team over recent years.”

“Over the past 12 months, we’ve focussed on innovation across the business to enhance and change our offering. As a result, we’ve secured more exclusive distribution deals, diversified our retail offering and improved company efficiencies. It’s always been exciting at Pricecheck, but I’m more excited than ever for what the future holds.”
