Nabeel Ramzan to step down from United Wholesale Grocers

Nabeel Ramzan has stepped down from his position at United Wholesale Grocers (UWG)  to focus on other personal ventures.

Nabeel and his brother Amaan released the following joint statement, announcing the move: “There has been a change in the ownership structure of United Holdings UK Limited. Nabeel Ramzan will be stepping down as a shareholder to focus on his personal pursuits.

Amaan Ramzan, along with the remaining shareholders, extends heartfelt thanks to Nabeel for his contributions and wishes him continued success in his future endeavours. Likewise, Nabeel conveys his best wishes to the shareholders and the entire UnitedH oldings team for the continued growth and success of the business.”

UWC is a member of Unitas Wholesale, its managing director John Kinney added: “Following the statement issued earlier from Amaan and Nabeel Ramzan, we look forward to continuing our relationship with Amaan who a long-standing Unitas Wholesale board director has been and supporting him to continue the growth of the UWG business. We wish Nabeel all the best in his new business ventures.”
