Move into non-food leads to kff expansion

In order to facilitate an entry into a new cleaning and non-food offering, foodservice wholesaler Kent Frozen Foods (kff ) has invested £3.5m in the expansion of a warehouse facility.

Located opposite the company’s headquarters in Aylesford, the new 24,390 sq. ft warehouse will create 20 new jobs and also allow the expansion of its chilled, ambient and grocery lines, on top of the addition of 14 new lorries.

Managing Director Chris Beckley said: “We are committed to delivering high-quality products and ingredients to our customers and this expansion enables us to diversify our portfolio and offer increased product ranges.

“We are continuously looking to grow as a company and have set aside a further £1m to fund future business growth plans once the new warehouse is up and running.”
