Kent-based-Michaels Wholefoods has entered administration, with Sarah Cook and Philip Lewis Armstrong of FRP Advisory Trading appointed as joint liquidators.
Based in Broadstairs, Kent, the wholesalers is family owned and been operating since the 1980s with a focus on branded lines and fine foods.

The company’s 18 employees serve Health Food Shops, Delicatessens and Greengrocers, the company also supplies to Cruise Liners and bakers in the local area.
Michael Wholefoods is the third wholesaler to enter trouble in past few months, following the news that Cimandis and SOS Wholesale have both stopped trading.
