Josie Cattermoul appointed CJ Lang trading director

CJ Lang has appointed Josie Cattermoul as its trading director, and she will now lead trading acrossbBuying, range, promotions and supplier partnerships.

In her role, she will also take the responsibility for strengthening the Spr Scotland proposition and driving profitable growth across both independent and company owned stores.

Her experience, alongside her focus on partnership and data-led category strategy, will be instrumental in strengthening our offer for both retailers and customers.”

Cattermoul joins from Tasmanian Independent Retailers, where she was General Manager – Merchandising & Marketing, leading end-to-end trading strategy across buying, ranging, promotions and marketing for an independent retail network. Prior to this, she held senior roles at James Hall & Co, where she was head of trading – Ambient, Frozen & Horticulture and at Iceland Foods as senior buying manager – Confectionery & Seasonal.
