JJ Foodservice plans to open a new branch in the Midlands next year, in addition to eight new branches as well as the company’s first overseas location in the Netherlands over the course of the next five years.

Speaking at the JJ Connect conference, chief operating officer Kaan Hendekli shared the group’s expansion strategy in which he confirmed the wholesaler is close to securing a new location for 2026 and on the lookout for more.

To support its growth ambitions, JJ is also investing in a 25,000 sq. ft multi-temperature facility at its Enfield headquarters, boosting capacity across frozen, chilled, and ambient ranges. This investment will help JJ grow its product range to 5,000 SKUs by next year. This follows the range already increased to 3,800 SKUs, a 27% increase on the previous year.

“We’re not just expanding our network – we’re expanding what we can offer customers,” said Hendekli. “This new space will help us serve caterers with more choice, while maintaining the same great service customers expect.”

The company’s digital performance also remains strong, with a record 79% of orders now placed online, with growth driven by a nationwide kiosk rollout, alongside increased use of its app, website, and EDI channels.

Elsewhere at the event, JJ launched Future Partners, a new supplier initiative featuring ‘Speed Connecting’ sessions with JJ buyers. Attendees were also invited to join the Buy More Save More campaign, which continues to deliver value for caterers and strong results for suppliers.
