Midlands-based wholesaler Hyperama has appointed John Mills as new chairman for the group and Jason Barnard as the operations director for the cash and carry division.
Managing director Marcus Singh, said: “John brings a wealth of experience gained over nearly 30 years in the food and drinks industry with companies that include Matthew Clark, Constellation Wines Europe and InterContinental Brands. Hyperama is at an important stage in its development and we are glad to have both John and Jason on board to help us achieve our long term goals.”
The Hyperama group includes the cash and carry division which is a long standing Landmark member and owns three depots in the Midlands; JK Foods Ltd which is one of the UK’s largest wholesalers of Oriental foods; and the Tiger Tiger ethnic foods brand.
