FWD and WiW form partnership

The Federation of Wholesale Distributors (FWD) is partnering with Women in Wholesale (WiW) in order to give the initiative a wider reach and increase awareness of diversity, inclusion and mental health awareness in the wholesale channel.

WiW has been running for five years and will now form part of of the FWD’s Supporting Wholesale mission, with WIW chair Claire Bocking believing this partnership will achieve achieve greater lobbying influence and help it achieve change.

FWD chair Coral Rose added: “The past ten months have taught us that creating an inclusive work environment is not just about gender and race equality. It’s about mental health and wellbeing, too. Working together we will be able to expand our support and knowledge to the sector, creating a truly effective workforce in the pandemic era.”

Elit Rowland will continue to run the WiW brand and events, coordinating with the FWD.
