Freemans re-joins Sugro

Walsall-based Freemans Confectionery Supplies Ltd. has re-joined Sugro, with the wholesaler adding £20m to the group’s existing combined turnover of £1.9bn.

Freemans claims to be the country’s leading independent wholesaler and distributor of ambient food products and as well as operating a cash and carry depot in Bloxwich,  is the sole appointed national distribution agents for the Huntley and Palmers range of biscuits.

Thomas Freeman, director of Freemans Confectionery Supplies Ltd, said: “Freeman’s are a long-established 3rd generation family run business already supplying stocks across most of the UK, and since joining Sugro, we are confident that this will provide us the required range, pricing and support to achieve our growth objectives, adding the extra product ranges to complement our already large product portfolio of products to sell.
