Women in Wholesale founder named in 2020 Power 50

Women in Wholesale (WiW) founder Elit Rowland has been named in Timewise’s 2020 Power 50 list, in which the flexible working consultancy firm recognises people who work part-time or flexibly.

As well as being the founder of the WiW initiative, Elit is responsible for the communication of JJ Foodservice across it marketing, events and social media channels. She started as a part-time contractor and is now permanently employed on a three-day pattern.

“Flexible working isn’t for everyone – you need to be focused, disciplined and driven,” said Rowland. “I am grateful to my team at JJ Foodservice for giving me the trust and the opportunity to be able to work flexibly. Thank you also to Emma at Timewise for starting such an incredible initiative, which spotlights the country’s best part-time and flexible workers.”
