Dhamecha will open a new cash and carry depot in Bristol on 14 September, expanding its operation into south-west England.
The Bristol opening follows Dhamecha’s expansion into the North West, where it opened a Liverpool depot less than two years ago.
The wholesaler has recruited 60 staff for the new depot and registered customers will receive a unique QR code to access the depot’s car park, which Dhamecha said would effectively eliminate theft from vehicles.

The site also features digital screens throughout, including at checkouts, while digital displays beneath larger promotional screens at aisle ends will show the price and return on investment of products below.
Dhamecha chief executive Pradip Dhamecha said: “Suppliers have been supportive and excited about the move, they see it as a good region for us to operate in. We have been canvassing and registering customers with very positive feedback ahead of the launch.”
