Budweiser Brewing Group appoints new wholesale commercial head

Ollie Devon has been appointed commercial director: convenience, wholesale & export at Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I, taking on the role previously held by Sunny Mirpuri, who has taken the role of on-trade sales director for the UK.

Devon joined the company more than eight years ago and has held a variety of senior commercial and finance roles. In his most recent role as commercial director for grocery & e-commerce, he played a pivotal role in leading initiatives that enhanced growth and distribution within the channels.

Mark Wingfield-Digby, off-trade director, Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I said: “We’re excited to announce Ollie as our new Commercial Director for Convenience. He brings with him eight years of knowledge and success at the company, accumulated through other positions. We’re confident he will continue to build on all the excellent work Sunny delivered previously, and his experience will be vital in driving continued growth in the convenience and wholesale channel and supporting our customers.’’
