Brakes’ parent company Sysco has launched a plant-based range, with the initial five products set to grow to more than 50 over the course of the next 18 months.
Supporting the Sysco Simply Plant Based launch will be a programme to allow foodservice businesses to capitalise on Veganuary, and the range will initially include savoury tarts like Sysco Simply Sweet Potato & Red Onion Marmalade Seeded Tart as well as a Sysco Simply Chestnut & Seed Roast. This will then expand to include cakes and desserts, vegan sausage rolls and other meat-free alternatives.
