AF Blakemore & Son Ltd has appointed Taranjit Singh Dhillon as director of independent retail recruitment for its Blakemore Trade Partners division.
Dhillon will join the senior leadership team on 29 December 2025. He moves from Co-op Wholesale, where he was head of retail, and previously spent 11 years at One Stop.
In his new role, he will lead AF Blakemore’s independent retail recruitment team.

Blakemore also recently appointed CJ Antal Smith as its new Chief Commercial Officer, and she will now be leading the commercial and marketing teams of the Spar wholesaler.
CJ joined from Poundland & Dealz, where she has been leading the commercial, marketing and digital functions. She also held senior commercial roles at Co-op, Halfords, Nando’s and Asda.
In June Blakemore launched Trade Partners Plus – a £4.5m investment package delivering lower prices, up to 8% rebates and tailored support to help retailers.
