Bestway has appointed MSP Systems, ITS and Henderson Technology as preferred EPoS partners, bringing preferential rates alongside improved ordering and store management to retailers.
The three firms were chosen at the end of May. It is the first time the wholesaler has offered retailers preferential EPoS partners and our sister website Better Retailing understands the three were shortlisted from six candidates in total.
Although exact commercial terms are still being determined, the deal means Bestway unaffiliated and symbol retailers who choose one of the three firms will receive a number of benefits.

One source close to the partnership told Better Retailing: “Bestway didn’t want to stick with a single provider as one will be more suited to symbols, one to forecourts and another for between the two formats. As the EPoS firms already work with Bestway, it will be a smooth integration with more preferential terms and costs for retailers.”
Each firm already has existing ties with Bestway and rival symbol operators. MSP works with a number of Bestway retailers, ITS has links with Nisa, while Henderson Technology’s parent company operates the Spar and Vivo fascias across Northern Ireland.
The appointment of preferred EPoS firms is the latest in Bestway’s plans to make its operations more efficient for independent retailers.
Speaking to Better Retailing at its annual retail show last month, Bestway managing director Dawood Pervez revealed the company was installing solar panels on depots, using AI for ordering and invoicing, while off-shoring back-office roles.
