John Searle is leaving Landmark

Landmark Wholesale director John Searle has announced his resignation from the business with effect from the end of the year.

Searle has worked for Landmark for 22 years in two periods, rejoining in April 2002 as senior trading controller, before becoming trading director in May 2004, a role which he still presently holds.

John Mills, Landmark managing director, said: “We are saddened to say farewell to John Searle and on behalf of central office, our members and the board, I would like to thank him wholeheartedly for the continued loyalty, hard work and determination he has given to Landmark, and wish him every success and happiness in the future.”

In the short term, Landmark will not be looking to recruit a trading director, and Jim Brown and Jon Burton, senior trading controllers, will both report directly into Mills.
