Future plans discussed at Confex event

80 delegates descended on Tenerife for the annual Confex Member Incentive, with more than 500 individual business meetings taking place over two days.

The buying group’s event included discussion on its current position as well as future plans, which aim to “create a collaborative and transparent agenda for the group moving forward.”

Confex chairman Martin Williams said: “I was delighted to attend my 1st Confex Member Incentive as their new chairman. I found an incredible willingness from both suppliers & members to work together to deliver mutual growth. The conference had a positive, upbeat feel from start to finish. The plans that were shared for the future of the group were well received by everyone.”

Steve Stubbs of Britvic added: “I thoroughly enjoyed the Confex Conference; in my view the best one yet. It was great to catch up with some familiar faces and also meet so many new members, which has opened up some new trading opportunities.”
