Five key takeaways:

1. The way food is produced, traded and consumed is critical to meeting climate, nature and health goals, yet current systems are driving emissions, biodiversity loss and diet-related disease.

2. Sustainable Foods London spotlights real-world solutions that make sustainable choices affordable and attractive, from regenerative farming and better procurement to innovation in retail, foodservice and finance.

3. Farmers, food workers and communities must be at the heart of the transition, with fair incomes, skills support and investment in resilience.

4. Collaboration between business, finance, science, policymakers and civil society is essential to unlock change at the speed and scale required.

5. The food system transition is a major opportunity for green jobs, innovation and competitiveness across the UK and globally.
