Today’s Group has re-launched Amberdown Dry Apple Cider and White Cider in modern new packaging, with 25-30% POR, to help increase retailers’ cider sales in the run up to the World Cup.
With shoppers still looking for excellent value for money, the launch will give retailers the opportunity to offer a high quality, better value alternative to key cider brands.
Managing director of Today’s Group Bill Laird said: “Three in five adults now drink cider and the majority drink the apple variety. Cider has become a real success story and by re- launching an old favourite we’re helping retailers to capitalise on the opportunity. He added: “With a summer of sport to look forward to, we’re giving our retailers everything they need to remain competitive.”
The re-launch of Amberdown will be supported in-depot point of sale (POS) and merchandising for Today’s wholesalers, while retailers will have access to posters and shelf talkers. Both variants will be available in two- and three-litre bottles with Amberdown White also available in one litre.
