Savona Foodservice has officially opened its expanded 50,000 sq ft London distribution depot, which forms part of a strategy to expand in the capital and South East.
The opening has given the business a larger, more efficient facility, which includes more than 2,000 sq ft of additional freezer and chiller pallet spaces, as well as new racking systems, an upgraded warehouse layout. The facility has also allowed it to realign its delivery areas alongside its Oxford site.

The expansion has also supported the launch of a new Culinary Collection, which is claimed to create opportunities for further product development and innovation through the attraction of new customers sectors.
A company statement said: “Our investment in the future doesn’t stop here. We’re excited to announce plans to introduce a development kitchen and dedicated meeting spaces at our London depot,”

“Designed for both internal and external use, the new facilities will bring customers and suppliers together for training sessions, product development workshops and collaborative meetings, creating even more opportunities to innovate and grow together. This is more than a bigger depot. It’s an important step forward for Savona Foodservice and another investment in our ability to support the foodservice industry across London and the South East for years to come,” it added.
