Parfetts appoints Middlesbrough GM as part of wave of appointments

Parfetts has appointed Neil Bradley to the general manager role of its Middlesbrough depot, with Joe Tindle also entering in the role of national sales controller east and Steve Miller as national sales controller west.

As part of these moves, Jimmy Smith has also now been promoted to supply chain manager at the Somercotes depot, having previously been supply chain manager in Halifax. Additionally, Jordan Wadsworth has been promoted from chilled buyer to supply chain manager at Halifax.

Steve Moore, head of retail at Parfetts, said: “We are welcoming new retailers to the Go Local network every week. As we expand, we must continue to provide our customers with industry-leading service levels, supporting them and ensuring their businesses grow by increasing sales and making more margin.

“We are continually investing in our team to meet the needs of over 1,200 fascia customers plus all the retail club and independent retailers we service. As an employee-owned business, we invest in our people, and Parfetts promotes people from within where possible to reward people for hard work and dedication to servicing our customers.”

Moore concluded: “We have created the national sales controller roles to support the teams in the field and provide senior levels of knowledge and experience to all our customers. Joe and Steve will support and guide our fast-growing team of over 40 retail experts – including retail development advisors, merchandisers, and store development teams. We see this as another enhancement to the industry-leading service we provide.”
