Landmark-Wholesale members United Wholesale Grocers, Sutherland Brothers and Forteith Foodservice were winners at the prestigious Scottish Wholesale Achievers Awards last Thursday, 21st February. Almost 500 people attended the Gala Dinner and Awards presentation hosted by TV presenter, Cathy Macdonald.
Achievers recognises professionalism and excellence across all sectors of the Wholesale Industry in Scotland. United Wholesale Grocers, Springburn was named as Best Cash & Carry Depot, Sutherland Brothers was Best Delivered Operation (On-Trade), the Award for Corporate Responsibility went to Forteith Foodservice and Abhay Singh of United Wholesale Grocers, Polmadie was named as Employee of the Year.
Kate Salmon, Executive Director of the Edinburgh-based Scottish Wholesale Association, commented: “All of our winners are doing quite remarkable things to grow and develop their Businesses, often taking risks but always embracing the partnership ethos that Achievers promotes. As an Association, we urge Wholesalers and Suppliers to use Achievers to enhance their Business.
