JJ Foodservice has moved its core business systems to the cloud with Dynamics 365, following more than six years of planning and development in partnership with Microsoft.
The new system is said to improve reporting and data insights, enabling faster, more informed decision-making across the business, and it will support all 14 JJ Foodservice branches, managing stock and deliveries to sales and finance in one connected system.
With around 80% of transactions already processed digitally across more than 4,000 product lines, JJ says having a reliable and scalable system is critical to day-to-day operations.

Michael Dudley, chief technical officer of JJ Foodservice, said: “Moving to a modern cloud platform was a significant step for the business. We’ve simplified how our systems connect and made it much easier to access real-time data. This puts us in a much stronger position to grow and innovate.”
Mushtaque Ahmed, managing director, JJ Foodservice added, “Our nearly seven-year journey has now reached the finishing line, and I am still pinching myself. This project has clearly demonstrated the strength of the long-standing partnership we have built with Microsoft.”
