JJ Foodservice has acquired a new 28,000 sq. ft. site in Ipswich and 33,000 sq. ft. Nottingham branch, with both facilities set to open this year.
The openings form part of the group’s rapid national expansion, with the Ipswich site extending the wholesaler’s reach across the region, which also covers Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Colchester and the surrounding areas.

Chief operating officer Kaan Hendekli said: “Ipswich has a vibrant and fast‑growing food scene, with an exciting mix of restaurants across the waterfront and town centre. We’re looking forward to supporting that growth with our quality, range and service.”
Over the past year, JJ Foodservice has expanded its product range by 19% in partnership with suppliers, adding new premium beers, wines and spirits, an extended alcohol offer, and specialist Asian, Mediterranean and world food lines for foodservice operators. JJ is also continuing to grow its home range.
The Nottingham branch remains on track to open this summer, with the Ipswich branch scheduled to follow towards the end of 2026.
